August 25, 2019 - Jake O'Neil Enjoys Two-Win USMTS Weekend
Jake was back on the road with the USMTS for their four night swing this past weekend and for his efforts, he picked up a pair of wins, and came home with a runner up finish in the weekend finale. The tour kicked off Thursday night at the Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City, Iowa and after running second in his heat race, Jake lined up third and battled for the lead the entire race and after a tussle for the lead got physical, Jake ended up leading the remaining laps to pick up the $2,500 victory. 1Friday night, the teams made their way to the Rapid Speedway in Rock Rapids, Iowa and after winning his heat, Jake started third for the second night in a row and was running inside the top four when mechanical troubles ended his night early.

Saturday, the tour made it's annual stop at the Nobles County Speedway in Worthington, MN and Jake ran second in his heat race, after starting fifth and for the third night in a row, redrew the #3 starting spot for the main event. From the inside of the third row, Jake settled into third early, before moving into the runner up spot and working to track down the leader. Jake stalked the leader for the majority of the race and used the extreme high side of the speedway on the final lap to slingshot by into the lead for his second win of the weekend.

Sunday, the annual Sandy Benson Memorial was held at the Casino Speedway in Watertown, SD and Jake ended the weekend with another good run. He won his heat from fifth and then charged from his 7th starting spot in the main event up to a solid runner up finish to cap off a great weekend.

August 17, 2019 - 6th Place Finish at Dallas County Speedway
1 Jake was back on the road with the United States Modified Touring Series this past week and competed in four events across Missouri and Oklahoma.

Wednesday night, the team visited the I-35 Speedway in Winston, MO and was involved in a first lap crash in the heat, ending his heat race early. He scratched from the b-main in order to make repairs for the main event. He used a provisional to start 23rd in the feature field and stormed his way up to 6th before losing his brakes and pulling in to save his equipment.

Thursday night, the series made its debut at the Dallas County Speedway in Urbana, MO and after running fifth in his heat race, he again moved forward from 19th to a solid 6th place finish on the tight bullring.

Friday night, Jake raced at the Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, MO and fell out of his heat race due to rough track conditions, but then rallied from 20th up to 11th in the feature on a narrow and hammer down track due to overnight rains.

Saturday, the team wrapped up it's four day swing at the Salina Highbanks Speedway in Salina, OK and Jake had another top ten finish. He raced from 5th to 2nd in his heat race before starting 5th and coming home 7th when the final checkered flag flew.

August 10, 2019 - O'Neil Passes 12 Cars in Harris Clash at Deer Creek
1Jake entered IMCA action over the weekend, which started on Tuesday night at the Harris Clash at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, MN. He raced from 6th to 3rd in his heat race, then won the b-main from fourth and then proceeded to charge from 16th up to a 4th place finish in the main event.

The team took Wednesday night off to get ready for the weekend at the Hancock County Speedway in Britt, IA. Thursday night, during the Night of 1000 Stars, Jake ran third in his heat race, won the b-main and then raced from 14th up to a fifth place finish and on Friday night, he ran fifth in his heat, fourth in the b and then again, charged through the field to a 5th place finish after starting 22nd. Saturday night's event was rained out.
