August 29, 2020 - Podium finish at 81 Speedway
1Jake made an appearance at the 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas over the weekend and ended up with a podium finish for his efforts. He ran fifth in his heat race to start off the night, then won the b-main from his 5th starting spot and then was able to charge forward from his 13th starting spot in the feature to race his way up to third when the checkered flag flew.

August 22, 2020 - Jake O'Neil lands Top-5 finish in USMTS action at Salina Highbanks
1Jake was back on the road with the United States Modified Touring Series for a three-track swing through Missouri and Oklahoma over the weekend. Thursday night, at the Dallas County Speedway in Urbana, Missouri, Jake raced from 7th up to win his heat race, but was disqualified for a minor infraction after he suffered damage earlier in the heat. This caused him to start at the tail of the b-main, which he rallied forward to finish 6th. In the feature, he started 23rd and raced his way into the top ten before spinning off the top of the track and restarting at the tail, only to race forward again, coming home 12th, earning the night's Eibach Spring Forward Award for his efforts.

1Friday, at the Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, MO, he fell out of his heat race, took a provisional to get a starting spot into the feature and then ended up pulling off in the main as well, ending a frustrating night early.

Saturday, the team capped off their weekend at the Salina Highbanks Speedway in Pryor Creek, OK and after a 6th-4th run in the heat, Jake started 10th in the feature and rallied his way to a 4th place finish, ending the weekend on a high note.

August 15, 2020 - Runner-up finish in USRA show at Deer Creek
1Jake made a pair of starts over the weekend, one in his IMCA car and one in his USRA car.

Thursday night, at the Hancock County Speedway in Britt, IA for the Night of 1000 Stars, Jake raced from 6th to 3rd in his heat race before starting 15th in the night's feature and racing to a 6th place finish.

1Saturday night, the team made the trip to the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Mn and picked up a pair of runner up finishes. He ran 2nd in his heat from the outside of row one and then backed it up with a runner up finish in the main event, after starting 4th.

August 8, 2020 - O'Neil marches to a fourth place finish in Harris Clash at Deer Creek
1Nick took the weekend off, but Jake was in action across three states over the past week, starting last Monday at the Clay County Speedway where he was behind the wheel of a Chance Hollatz owned Stock Car. His night was short lived though as mechanical issues forced him to retire on the opening lap of the heat race, and ended his night.

1Tuesday, he took his #0 IMCA Modified to the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, MN for the annual Harris Clash. 87 Modifieds signed in and Jake raced from 6th to 2nd in his heat race, then won the b-main from the pole and then proceeded to charge from his 18th starting spot int he main event up to a very impressive 4th place finish when the checkered flag flew.

1After taking a couple nights off, he made the trip over to the Park Jefferson Speedway in Jefferson, SD for a 2-day event and ran 6th and 7th in his heat races the opening night before racing to a runner up finish in the b-main on Saturday and then working his way from 13th up to finish 9th in the feature event.
