Jake O'Neil Wins Fall Nationals Opener; 3rd Place Finish in Sunday's Finale

Jake was in action at the Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, NM for the annual USRA Fall Nationals. Friday night, he started 7th and ran second in his heat race, then redrew third for the main and quickly jumped to the lead and drove off for the feature win, earning himself Saturday night off and the pole for the Sunday finale. Sunday, he rolled his #0 from the pole in the 50-lap, $10,000 to win main event and lead early, battling with Rodney Sanders and eventual winner Johnny Scott for much of the event, settling in for third when the checkered flew.
