7th Place Finish in River City Rumble at Park Jefferson

Jake continued on the road with the United States Modified Touring Series as the season begins to wind down. Friday's event at the Rapid Speedway in Rock Rapids, Iowa was rained out just before heat races began, so the team continued on the road to the Park Jefferson Speedway in Jefferson, South Dakota on Saturday night. He ran fifth in his heat race and then started 15th in the main event and was able to move forward for a solid 7th place finish at the checkered. Sunday night, the team made their way to the Casino Speedway in Watertown, South Dakota for the 3rd annual Sandy Benson Memorial. Jake won his heat race from the outside of the front row and redrew 7th for the main. While running inside the top ten, he suffered a flat tire, which forced him to the tail, where he would officially come home with a 16th place finish.
