Top 5 Finish With USMTS at Salina Speedway

Jake was back in action this past weekend with the United States Modified Touring Series during a tripleheader throughout state of Kansas.

Thursday night, the team made the trip to the 81 Speedway in Park City, KS and after struggling in his heat race to a fifth place finish, Jake ran the b-main, but pulled off. He then took a provisional for the main event and charged from his 23rd starting position to a solid 9th place finish.

Friday night, the team made a stop at the Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, KS and raced from 6th to 3rd in his heat race before coming from 9th to 7th in the main.

Saturday night, the weekend wrapped up at the Salina Speedway in Salina, KS and Jake ran second in his heat race before coming from 8th to a solid 4th place finish in the main event.

On to Cedar Lake this weekend chasing the $40,000 Masters!
