Jake O'Neil Lands a Pair of Top 10 Finish With USMTS Over Memorial Day Weekend

Jake got back on tour with the USMTS this past weekend at a pair of tracks in Minnesota and Iowa. Saturday night, the series made the trip to the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, MN and Jake ran third in his heat before troubles struck in the b-main. Jake took a series provisional and started 25th in the main event, before slicing and dicing his way up to a very splid 8th place finsih in the 40-lapper. Sunday night, the team made their way to the Upper Iowa Speedway in Decorah and Jake had another top ten run. He won his heat race from the pole, then started and finished 8th in the main event. The series takes this next weekend off before a trio of events in the states of Kansas is next on tap.
