O'Neil Records Podium Finish in Second Round of Featherlite Fall Jamboree

Jake was in action at the 21st annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, MN over the weekend and came home with three top ten finishes for his efforts. Thursday night, Jake won his heat race from third and then started the main event from the 7th starting position. During the early part of the race, he spun and restarted 29th. From there, he blasted his way through the field to come home with a 9th place finish.

Friday, he again won his heat race from the outside of the front row and then raced home to a third place finish in the main event, after starting fifth.

Saturday, he started 9th and raced up to third in his heat race, putting him in the top 9, which allowed him to redraw the #4 starting position. The 32 car field started three wide and Jake ran inside the top five for much of the event, jockeying for position lap after lap, and when the checkered flag flew, he came across the line in ninth.
