Jake O'Neil Visits Newly-Opener Vado Speedway Park

Jake took last weekend off to get his new car ready to go and then made the trip to the new Vado Speedway Park in Vado, NM for the doubleheader over the weekend.

Friday night, he started 3rd and won his heat race and then charged forward to a solid second place finish in the main event, only to be disqualified for a deck height violation.

Saturday night, he raced from 7th to 3rd in his heat race and then started 9th in the feature and was challenging for the lead, only to try a last ditch maneuver to win the race, but instead spun the car, ending with a DNF.

All in all, a great weekend shaking down the new car at an awesome new facility.
