Jake O'Neil Records a Pair of Runner-up Finishes

After a top five run at Superbowl on Tuesday night, we were rained out both Wednesday night at 82 and Thursday might at Monarch, but got back on the track on Friday night at West Texas Raceway in Lubbock.

Jake started 6th and was able to race l through the pack to a heat race victory before redrawing 5th for the main event. In the feature, he battled for second for much of the event, coming home with a solid third place finish.

Saturday night, he made the trip to the Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo, TX and again was able to win the heat race, putting him in the redraw, which we drew 8th. In the main, he quickly moved into the top five and settled into second, chasing Dereck Ramirez for most of the race, finishing with a runner up finish.
