Jake scores a pair of podium finishes in Desert Thunder Nationals at Casa Grande

Both Nick and Jake were in action over the weekend with Nick making his first ever visit to the Bullring at Las Vegas Motors Speedway in Las Vegas, NV and Jake competing at the Central Arizona Speedway in Casa Grande, AZ.

Nick's qualified 18th overall at the Bullring and locked himself into the main event, only to be forced to retire early after another car made contact, causing damage to his #88n machine. Jake ran all three nights at Central Arizona and had a pair of top five runs to show for it.

Saturday, he won his heat again, but unfortunately suffered a mechanical issue in the feature, ending his night early.

Sunday, he got his engine situation handled and won his heat for the third night in a row and followed that up with a 6th to 3rd run in the feature to cap off a great weekend racing locally.
