Jake O'Neil sweeps USMTS Fall Jamboree at Deer Creek

Jake entered the Featherlite Fall Jamboree at the Deer Creek Speedway over the weekend and raced away with a pair of wins worth upwards of $15,000 for his efforts! (Tyler Rinken photo)

Friday night, he started 5th and raced forward to finish 2nd in his heat race, which earned him the 12th starting spot in the $5,000 to win main event. In the feature, he quickly raced from 12th into the top ten, then into the top five and ultimately to the lead and into victory lane to start off the weekend with a big win.

Saturday, he started his heat race in third and won it, putting himself into the redraw and earning the 4th starting spot for the $10,500 to win, 50-lap main event. In the feature, he settled into third early, then worked his way into second and was able to work into the lead and hold off Jake Timm and Rodney Sanders late in the event to score his second win of the weekend!
