Podium finish in night two of Masters at Cedar Lake Speedway

Jake continued on tour with the USMTS this past weekend at the 21st annual Masters at the Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wi.

Thursday night, he started on the outside of the front row and was leading his heat race when he suffered a flat tire, ending his good run. He then started 16th and raced up to 7th in the b-main, coming up a few spots short of making the main event.

1Friday, he again started on the front row of his heat and went on to win it, earning the 7th starting spot for the feature. During the main, he worked his way forward into the top three, finishing 3rd at the checkered. (Fotos by Fizzle)
Saturday, Jake started 7th and finished 5th in the heat. He then started 5th and won his b-main, before starting 15th in the feature and after running inside the top ten for part of the 50-lap main event, he officially was credited with a 20th place finish.
