O'Neil scores a pair of Top-10 finishes in USMTS action

Jake was back on tour with the USMTS over the weekend at the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, KS on Friday night and at the Tri-State Speedway in Pocola, OK on Saturday.

Friday, he started fourth in his heat race and worked his way forward to pick up the win in it, earning the 8th starting spot in the night's $10,000 to win feature event. In the main, he was able to work his way forward from 8th into the top five early and then settling in for a solid third place finish.

Saturday, he started 8th in his heat race and worked his way up to 5th, then ran second in the b-main, qualifying for the feature. He then rolled off 18th in the main and steadily worked his way forward throughout the feature, crossing the finish line in sixth.
