Both O'Neil brothers visit victory lane, Jake bags $10,000 at 81 Speedway
Both Nick and Jake had stellar Saturday night performances over the weekend, and both drivers raced to victory lane for their efforts! Nick entered NASCAR Modified action at the Tucson Speedway in Tucson, AZ and swept the night. After qualifying at the top of the list, he won his heat race from the pole and then charged forward in the night's feature event to win from his 10th starting spot!
And Jake, after posting feature finishes of sixth on Thursday and third on Friday, his #0 was on point on Saturday night to conclude the Ed Gressel Memorial weekend at the 81 Speedway in Park City, KS.
Jake's Saturday night went something like this... He qualified third in his group, then raced from 4th to 2nd in his heat race, which put him 8th in the feature lineup. From 8th, he slipped outside of the top ten early, but then rebounded and drove his way to the front, racing to the win and the $10,000 payday that went along with it!
