Podium finish in Cajun Clash prelim at Ark-La-Tex Speedway
Jake was back in action this past weekend at the Ark-La-Tex Speedway in Vivian, Louisiana for the annual Cajun Clash with the United States Modified Touring Series.
Thursday night, Jake stated on the outside of the front row in his heat race and fan second which put him on the pole of the b-main. He won the b easily, earning the 15th starting spot in the night's feature race. From the inside of the eighth row, he worked his way forward to cross the finish line in 11th.
Friday, he again started on the outside of the front row in his heat race and won it, putting him 4th in the feature lineup after the redraw was completed. During the feature, he was able to run inside the top five all 40 laps, racing to a third place finish for his efforts.
Saturday night, Jake was able to race from third to second in his qualifying heat race before winning the b-main and racing from 13th in the night's 50-lap feature up to 7th to wrap up the three day weekend.
