Nick O'Neil visits victory lane at Tucson Speedway
Nick raced to victory lane yet again on Saturday night at the Tucson Speedway. He qualified second overall, then won his heat race from the outside of the front row before starting fifth in the night's NASCAR Modified feature race and racing forward to pick up the win.
Jake was back in action with the USMTS at the Ogilvie Raceway in Ogilvie, MN and showed speed all weekend long, just had some bad luck along the way as well, which kept him out of victory lane. Thursday night, he ran seventh in his heat race before the rest of the program was rained out and postponed until the next afternoon. Friday, he then started 23rd in the night's feature race and raced forward to finish 13th. In the regular event Friday night, he ran second in his heat race then started 11th and finished 12th in the feature event. Saturday, to cap off the weekend, he raced from 6th up to 4th in his heat race before starting 12th in the main event, but fell out of the feature early, ending his night.
