Nick O'Neil sweeps season opener at Tucson Speedway
Nick kicked off his 2024 campaign on Saturday night by sweeping the Season Opener at the Tucson Speedway in his hometown of Tucson, Arizona.
Nick topped qualifying in the Modified division with a lap of 15.999 seconds, putting himself on the pole of the first heat race, which he went on to win, securing the 8th starting spot in the night's 50-lap feature race.
In the feature, Nick methodically worked his way from the fourth row through the field to take the lead and race to the win by just over 2.5 seconds when the checkered flag flew. The win was Nick's first of 2024 in his first start of the season.
