Jake double dips in Mod Wars at Ogilvie; Nick adds sixth win of 2024 at Tucson
Nick was back in action at the Tucson Speedway in Tucson, AZ this past Saturday night and got back to his winning ways by sweeping the night's action. He was the top qualifier overall, then won his heat race from fifth and then roared to the feature win after starting fifth in the night's feature as well to complete the sweep.
Jake entered all three nights of the USMTS Mod Wars at the Ogilvie Raceway in Ogilvie, MN this past weekend and had a heck of a weekend, winning twice and racing to a top five finish on the third night.
Thursday, he won his heat from the outside of the front row and then raced from 6th up to 4th in the feature to start off the weekend well.
Friday, he ran second in his qualifying heat race and then started 5th in the feature. He was able to work his way forward into the lead and raced away with the feature win.
Saturday, he backed up his Friday win with another big win to cap off the weekend. He raced from 9th to 4th in his heat to set up a third starting spot. From there, he raced to the front and ran off with the $11,000 paycheck for his efforts!
