Jake tops USMTS Battle by the Big Blue at Beatrice Speedway

Nick was back behind the wheel of his #88N NASCAR Modified on Saturday night at the Tucson Speedway in Tucson, AZ and after a fourth place qualifying effort and a 4th to 2nd run in his heat race, he started the feature on the front row and contended for the lead for the majority of the feature, ending up with a second place finish.

Jake entered three USMTS events over the weekend, starting off at the Beatrice Speedway in Beatrice, Nebraska and after running second in his qualifying heat race to start the night, he started 6th in the night's feature and was able to race to the lead and then then hold off a challenge late to pick up the victory.

From there, the team made the trip to the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City for the annual Grant Junghans Memorial. Jake was able to win his heat race on the first night then raced forward from 10th up to 4th in the feature. On the final night, he ran ninth in his heat, third in the b, and then started 18th, but failed to finish the feature.
