Jake O'Neil dominates Gopher 50 in Modified at Deer Creek Speedway

Jake was at Deer Creek over the weekend as a support class for the World of Outlaws during Gopher 50 weekend and ended the weekend on a high note, winning the finale on Saturday night.

Thursday's event was rained out and postponed to Friday, where Jake picked up a pair of second place finishes in his heat race and in the day's feature race. Friday night, he won his heat race and then raced from 10th up to 4th in the nights feature, capping off a successful first day. Saturday, for the finale, he won his heat from the pole and took off from the outside of the front row in the night's feature race to lead every lap and race to the $5,000 win for his efforts.
